The revenue side of platforms.
Monetization advisory and deal strategy for platforms, media brands, and the programmers who sell to them.
Platforms and programmers have never signed more deals.
Realizing their full value is another matter.
Between the term sheet and the market, value leaks — an ask that could have gone further, a placement that never got merchandised, a partnership marketing opportunity that was never fully worked. I find where the value sits and help teams pull it through.
Our Services
A renewal or new deal is on the calendar. Walk in knowing where the value is.
In the 60–90 days before a major content, carriage, or platform negotiation, I arm your team with term priorities, creative value opportunities, and a monetization case for every ask. Your negotiators keep the pen — they just stop leaving value on the table.
Format: scoped sprint, [4–8] weeks, fixed fee.
The seat is empty. The pipeline isn't waiting.
Senior interim coverage for partnerships, monetization, or platform strategy functions while you run a search or a reorg. No ramp — I've held this seat on the distributor side for 15 years. Available on short notice; consult-to-hire welcome.
Format: monthly retainer, [3–6] month engagements.
Your partnerships are signed. Are they performing?
A 30-day structured review of your content partnerships, inventory yield, bundling economics, and on-platform merchandising — benchmarked against what the strongest distributors are doing right now. Delivered as a prioritized action brief your team can execute immediately, not a deck that sits in a drive.
Format: 30 days, fixed fee.
You have the content. I know what the platforms say yes to.
For programmers, DTC services, FAST channels, and content owners bringing their offering to telcos and CTV platforms: carriage and pitch strategy, packaging and positioning by platform, distribution GTM, and a merchandising plan for the surfaces that actually drive discovery and revenue. I spent 15 years on the other side of these pitches, deciding which services got bundled, placed, and promoted. I'll build yours the way the buyer wants to receive it.
Format: scoped sprint, [4–6] weeks, fixed fee.
About LPC
LPC Audience Advisory is led by Lisa Pue Chinery — 15 years on the distributor side of television and streaming, in senior roles at DIRECTV and Verizon.
Lisa built the content partnership strategy behind Verizon's +play marketplace — a new multi-million-dollar revenue stream created through exclusive bundles and on-platform merchandising. At DIRECTV, she ran go-to-market for NFL Sunday Ticket, the most valuable subscription product in television, and grew AUDIENCE Network into a Top 15 network on the platform.
Her specialty is the strategy layer of deals and partnerships: what to ask for, where the creative value hides, and how the economics perform after signature. LPC works both sides of the table — helping platforms monetize their partners, and helping programmers win placement and value from platforms. Whichever seat you're in, the advantage is the same: the perspective of the person who used to sit across from you.
